Services We Can Offer
Services offered
Chapter Media has a proven track record in delivering results for content owners, networks and brands across Mobile, IPTV, interactive TV and the web.
The digital media explosion has resulted in a new relationship with the consumer. Sectors such as VoD and mobile represent new and significant ways to deliver increased revenue, more effective communications and better customer understanding. This offers powerful opportunities for the Media and Telecoms sectors.
For many businesses there are often obstacles to achieving the benefits of these emerging platforms; these can include defining the right proposition, the value chain, technology, resources, cost or simply knowledge.
At Chapter we ensure that our clients are able to overcome such obstacles, and to realise the full potential of their business in this space, in a cost efficient manner. We blend expertise and industry contacts in the Television, Internet and fixed/wireless Telco sectors, with advanced knowledge of service development, content production and distribution, marketing, and rights management.

• Partner resourcing
• Product and systems design
• Approvals
• Build and integration
• Operations setup
• Business and consumer acceptance testing
• Launch
• Product lifecycle management
Chapter has its own in-house technical development team who develop sites mainly in PHP and PHP-based frameworks such as Drupal. However we only use this team on projects where appropriate, and regularly use external companies.
From a product point of view we have developed Content Management Systems (CMS) which are currently being used by clients such as Robbiewilliams.com, Sia, BIFA and Raindance.tv.
We have built a bespoke CMS, Editions, for Eve Magazine. This is also now being used to build advertorials and micro-sites for clients such as stuff.tv and whathifi.com
We have also developed a managed infrastructure platform (with Rackspace, Brightcove and Interoute) for the delivery of web and audio and video content.
Licensing
As the growth in revenues derived from intellectual property in traditional profit centres is slowing down, content owners are seeking to exploit emerging platforms to increase their bottom line.
Chapter’s focus is to identify partners, resources and distribution platforms that maximise revenue for our clients’ intellectual property. To support this, we develop innovative propositions and marketing tie-ins around the IP.
We have expertise in content aggregation, rights negotiation and management, and value chain analysis, as well as setting exploitation terms, windows, revenue shares and service level agreements. When valuing and negotiating IP licenses we can operate on a global or local level and use our knowledge of platform capabilities to ensure optimal terms for our clients.
